As if there was any doubt – Steve made it over the sand dunes and we managed to leave Coongie Lakes. After showering and then filling up in Innamincka (including a quick beer or two) we drove down the Strzelecki Track and made it as far as the Montecollina Bore and camped for the night. It was a quiet night with a beautiful sunset and even prettier sunrise (so says Steve who couldn’t be bothered getting the tripod out). The water coming out of the bore was hotter than shower water. The boys could hardly keep their hands under the stream to wash their faces. A quick thanks to those who have bought shares in the Moomba Geo-thermal plant – the Strzlecki was nicely graded which meant quite a comfortable drive. Only time for a one night stop, must make it to Leigh Creek to fill up on supplies that we won’t have to pay an arm and a leg for.

OMG!!! I thought to myself "self get on see how Viv is going".... i need a day to catch up ! ...had a quick look at the photo's very nice, you need to get infront of the camera as well lovey...takecare guys-sindy
